Bamtang Games was founded in 2002 in Lima, Peru. During the first three years of operations, a team of six developers worked on Boxing Box, a real life boxing game with 3D game interface. This was presented to the public in 2006 complete with accelerometers and USB interface, which was before the Wii was heard of. Naturally, like any product ahead of its time, Boxing Box was never published, but Bamtang Games was recognized by publishers such as Novint and the Cartoon Network for their creativity, quality and skills.
