The Mochis

The Mochis is an annual award show that recognizes the year's very best Flash games. Official judging is underway- check out the finalists below! The game with the most overall votes will be the winner of the "Player's Choice" category.

  Kris Antoni is CEO and co-founder of Toge Productions, a small indie game studio based in Indonesia that focuses on creating high quality Flash games targeted for the web and mobile. What started as a 2-man team back in 2009, Kris together with friend & co-founder, Sudarmin Then, grew Toge Productions and created several Flash game hits including “Infectonator”, “Days 2 Die”, “Necronator”, and “Relic of War”. Toge Productions has now grown into a small studio of 14 people, made over a dozen games and won numerous awards and recognitions. In addition to being the CEO, Kris also works as a game designer and technical artist at Toge Productions where he strives to make games that are creative, fun, and engaging.

He met Etienne and Marc-Antoine at his previous job and they all decided to quit and become full-time indie game developers...and so Berzerk Studio was born. Simon is the creator of the "Lachhh Engine", which powers all of Berzerk Studio's games. These days his role is to take Berzerk's games to market on mobile, tablet, and browser platforms.

He mainly works in small teams with other people providing all the artwork and art direction. What qualifies as an independent game or commercial game?

An independent game is any game created by an organization 3 people or smaller, and not created on commission or for an advertiser. Commercial games are any created by companies greater than 3 people, on commission or for an advertiser.
